Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team at Pure Fitout. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the purchasing of metals and joinery materials, leveraging your procurement expertise to source new suppliers and drive cost-cutting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage the purchasing of metals and joinery materials for our workshop
- Source and evaluate new suppliers to optimize our supply chain
- Negotiate favourable terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
- Analyse market trends and pricing to identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfil material requirements
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the metal or joinery industry
- Proven track record of successful supplier sourcing and cost-cutting initiatives
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure favourable terms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite
