Job Title: Band 4 Postgraduate Medical Education Team Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Band 4 Postgraduate Medical Education Team Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Gloucestershire GP Training Programme, ensuring the smooth delivery of educational activities and events.

About the Role:

  • Provide administrative support to the PGME team, including data collation, reporting, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of training activities.
  • Manage travel, training, and conference arrangements, including accommodation and catering.
  • Analyse and present data on training outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for enhancement.
  • Diligently monitor multiple email inboxes and diaries, responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the setup and preparation of training rooms, including moving furniture and setting up IT equipment.

Requirements:

  • Extensive secretarial and administrative experience with a comprehensive knowledge of Trust IT systems.
  • NVQ4 or equivalent qualification/standard.
  • Advanced level competence in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • A strong understanding of medical education and training, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously, using initiative and judgment to resolve problems and make decisions.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality administrative support, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
