Teaching in a Pupil Referral Unit

Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) play a vital role in supporting students who face challenges in mainstream education settings. As a Primary Teacher in our PRU, you will be part of a dedicated team working together to provide a safe and supportive learning environment.

Your role will involve developing and implementing tailored education plans that cater to the individual needs of each student. You will work closely with other teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's education and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the teaching team to ensure a seamless education program
  • Develop and implement tailored education plans that meet the unique needs of each student
