**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Analyst to join our team at Primark. As a Digital Marketing Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing performance data and providing insights to inform our digital marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze performance data from various digital channels to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the Senior Digital Campaign Manager and Performance Marketing Manager to develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies.
- Build and maintain a suite of digital marketing reports to provide insights and recommendations to the wider business.
- Collaborate with the wider insights & analytics team to ensure consistent reporting and awareness across the teams.
- Support in building forecasts from media activity utilizing 1st party historical performance data and 3rd party planning tools.
- Packaging up Digital Marketing performance results & stats to compile summary of findings in presentations for the wider business.
- Assist in developing a media attribution model that takes into account multi devices and multi step journeys to understand the impact each channel has to the business.
- Collaboration with data scientists (in house and via media agency partners) to plan, measure and validate our paid media activity.
- Use data sources and our listening platform to provide insights and shape our marketing direction.
Requirements:
- 4-5 year's experience in a similar analytical role.
- Degree in marketing, data science, business analytics, statistics or similar.
- Experience with digital marketing measurement and tagging tools (such as GA/GA4/Adobe/GTM).
- Experience of data visualisation tools (such as Power BI / Tableau / Data Studio).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel functions, formulas & advanced features.
- Experience and understanding of digital marketing channels (including algorithms and attribution).
- Working knowledge of phyton & SQL scripts and data storage platforms such as Big Query.
