About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Hotel Du Vin. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all customer-facing departments, including Food & Beverage and Front Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of multiple departments, including Food & Beverage and Front Office.
  • Work closely with the breakfast team to ensure seamless service.
  • Manage check-out periods and ensure efficient processing of guest departures.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to inspect bedrooms and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest relations and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and development within the hotel and contribute to the development of junior team members.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
