DBT Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Specialist
3 weeks ago
We are St Andrew's, a mental health charity that inspires hope. Our vision is a society where everyone living with mental health needs is heard, valued, and has hope for their future.
As a DBT Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Specialist, you will provide psychological treatments to patients via evidence-based multi-model interventions, such as Dialectical Behaviour, Cognitive Behaviour or other manualised treatment protocols.
You will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures. Your role will also involve organising and providing teaching and training as required.
Reliably collecting and interpreting data regarding the outcomes of interventions provided is also a key aspect of this role.
Our ideal candidate will have a recognised qualification as a therapist and be able to risk assess and manage people with severe complex needs. You must also be able to communicate clearly, effectively and sensitively.
We offer an excellent benefits package, including a pension, sickness policy, access to the Blue Light Card and Health Service Discounts schemes, and 35 days annual leave (increasing to 41 after 10 years' service).
Our on-site facilities include a gym, swimming pool, and cafés, all set within beautiful grounds.
