About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Community DBT and ICCR Service. The successful candidate will work across our CASCADE and ICCR services, providing a range of clinical services to individuals and groups.
Main Responsibilities
The individual will have excellent opportunities to gain experience of multilevel service provision and to further develop skills of complex case assessment, formulation and the application of evidence-based psychological interventions.
Within the CASCADE service, you will join a team delivering comprehensive DBT, psychoeducation, mindfulness, family & carers groups. Dependent upon training, you will carry a small caseload of clients suitable for trauma work, therefore experience in DBT-adapted and integrated trauma therapies is desirable.
As part of the ICCR service, you will work with service users with complex mental health and behavioural needs, and be familiar with the needs of a diverse BAME community and working in areas of high socioeconomic deprivation.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Psychologist with a doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, and significant post-qualification experience of specialist psychological assessment and individual and group-based treatment of clients with complex difficulties.
Experience of working with service users with personality difficulties/complex trauma/psychosis, and running group-based interventions for clinical problems is desirable.
