About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor or Psychotherapist to join our team at Neurodivergent Practitioners. As a Narrative Therapy Specialist, you will work with clients to explore their stories and co-construct new narratives that promote personal growth and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences
  • Utilize a person-centred approach to counselling, focusing on the client's unique needs and goals
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that address the client's specific challenges
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviours
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients as they work towards their goals

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counselling or a related field
  • Experience working with neurodiverse populations, particularly those with Autism
  • Strong knowledge of Narrative Therapy principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
