E-commerce Payments Strategic Alliance Manager

About the Job
We are seeking a Senior E-commerce Business Development Manager to join our team in the UK and Northern Europe.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships with e-commerce merchants, Payment Service Providers, and processors.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our business leaders, product marketing, and engineering teams to drive growth and innovation in the e-commerce space.
- Develop and execute strategic partnerships with e-commerce merchants, Payment Service Providers, Processors, and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal teams to define product requirements, negotiate contracts, and integrate solutions.
Responsibilities
In addition to the above, you will also be responsible for:
- Helping partners identify, navigate, and overcome technical or detailed complexities to drive adoption of new technology.
- Participating internally on cross-functional teams to define partners, product requirements, negotiation strategies, integration and testing plans, and go-to-market launch programs.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience building and sustaining successful relationships across the e-commerce value chain with expert knowledge of all aspects of online payments including its inherent risks (e.g. fraud, acceptance costs) and issues (e.g. low conversion).
- Proven understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem and emerging mobile payments.
- Direct experience working with various online merchant segments, PSPs, payment schemes, and processors.
Compensation and Benefits
This role is expected to offer a salary in the range of £85,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
