Youth Mentor Opportunity

This role involves working with pupils who require additional guidance from a positive and assertive role model. As a Youth Mentor, you will support their everyday routine and keep them engaged and motivated to learn in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with a range of SEN to keep them engaged in the classroom.
  • Encouraging the development of students' social skills.
  • Working within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate needs.
  • Supporting and complying with the school's safeguarding procedures.

Requirements:

  • A 2:1 or a First-class degree from a reputable University - ideal but not essential.
  • Genuine interest in working with SEN.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt.
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN/SEMH is desirable.
