Contract Manager Job Description

First People Solutions is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead the delivery of multiple construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction contracts, processes, and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management and delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, contracts, and financial reports.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Resolve any disputes or challenges that arise during the project.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Contract Manager or similar role in the Civil Engineering and Construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, processes, and legislation.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach.
