Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Dorset Concrete Pumping.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our office operations.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to office staff, including data entry, document preparation, and correspondence.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Book jobs in via phone call or face-to-face in the office.
  • Keep the office clean, tidy, and safe.
  • Book vehicles in for inspections, MOTs, and any necessary repair work.

Requirements:

  • English language proficiency for health and safety reasons.
  • Previous experience in an office environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in data entry are required.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00/8:00 am - 16:30/17:00 pm. Please note that you will be expected to work through school holidays; if you have children, you will need to ensure you have childcare in place for their time off.

Estimated Salary: £15-18 per hour (dependent on experience).
