Sponsorship Strategy Lead

MLS Talent is seeking an experienced Sponsorship Strategy Lead to help drive commercial growth and success for our clients in the sports industry.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our sponsorship strategy efforts. As a Sponsorship Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sponsorship-focused commercial advisory projects, working closely with senior executives across the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sponsorship-focused commercial advisory projects
  • Lead and manage multiple projects concurrently, defining the narrative and argument for each scope
  • Manage client relationships and uphold standards of deliverables and quality
  • Identify, construct, and present business cases across wide-ranging client briefs
  • Deliver complex change-orientated sponsorship advisory projects
  • Build knowledge across the industry and work closely with senior executives

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the sports industry and sponsorship environment
  • Ability to understand a rights holder's/client's position and articulate ideas and strategies to grow and change commercial revenues
  • Experience in strategy, consultancy, agency environments, or across a leading rights holder
  • Ability to manage and build client and team relationships
  • More than five years' experience in a relevant field
