Job Title:

Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated individual to work with students who require extra support with additional learning and behavioural needs in a Primary school environment.

As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on pupils' lives by providing tailored support to students addressing challenging behaviour.

This role is perfect for those looking for a long-term position in Newport, contributing to improving pupils' social and emotional development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor individualised support plans for students.
  • Offer feedback to teachers and parents on progress of support plans.
Key Benefits:
  • Weekly pay between £425-£475.
  • Full-time contract.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with challenging behaviours in Primary Schools.
  • Enhanced DBS (we can assist with the process).
  • Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) - we can help with the registration process.
