Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs

beBee Professionals in Newport is seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our educational support team, you will work closely with teachers to provide individualized support to students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the implementation of accommodations and modifications to support students' learning needs.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and welcoming school environment.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable.
