IT Technician Wanted

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team in Sunderland. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-line ICT support to staff and students, maintaining ICT rooms and equipment, and managing your workload efficiently through the Helpdesk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver first-line ICT support to staff and students
  • Maintain ICT rooms and equipment
  • Manage workload efficiently through the Helpdesk
  • Provide general technical support to the ICT department
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of new and existing software
  • Develop systems to monitor and record ICT usage
  • Offer technical support for staff presentations and school events
  • Commission, maintain, test, and repair electronic/computer systems, peripherals, and AV equipment
  • Assist Managers with Portable Appliance Testing
  • Engage in continuous professional development
Requirements:
  • Strong IT skills
  • Self-motivated and passionate about improving the educational experience
  • Previous experience of working within a similar role
