Labcorp invites applications for a Veterinary Clinical Anaesthetist to join our team in Huntingdon. As a key member of the Department of Animal Welfare and Veterinary Services, you will contribute to the delivery of exceptional animal care and welfare services.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires expertise in veterinary anaesthesia and experience working with laboratory animals. You will work closely with our veterinary team to provide technical support for clinical and regulated work.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing peri-operative surgical support for the veterinary team.
  • Liaising with Animal Care and Welfare Officers to ensure the highest standards of animal care and welfare.
  • Conducting A(SP)A regulated procedures and promoting the 3Rs principles and culture of care.

Requirements:

  • Vet nurse or experienced animal technician with evidence of anesthesia and/or surgery experience.
  • Familiarity with Animals (Scientific) Procedures Act 1986 and small and large animal species used in research environments.
