Job Title: Clinical Pharmacy Team Leader

You will be responsible for leading and operationally managing a team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff offering clinical services to the haematology/oncology day unit and collaborating with other teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain safe, high-quality Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) and PN clinical services that meet key pharmacy service standards and national benchmarks for patient care.
  • Collaborate with oncology, haematology, and clinical staff to develop and improve clinical pharmacy services for SACT and PN on-site and through homecare.
  • Contribute to operational and strategic priorities across North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, modernising pharmacy services.
Key Requirements:
  • MPharm or equivalent pharmacy degree
  • Registered Pharmacist (GPhC)
  • Postgraduate qualification relevant to hospital pharmacy practice
  • Significant experience in hospital pharmacy services with advanced clinical skills in SACT
  • Experience in both clinical and financial management

This is a full-time role with weekend and bank holiday working as part of a department-wide rota. The post will primarily be based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, but may require travel to other sites within the trust.

The estimated salary for this position is £62,500 per annum, depending on experience, with a £1,000 Welcome Bonus payable upon commencement.
