Education Assistant for SEND Pupils

Job Overview: We are partnering with a Special Educational Needs School dedicated to supporting pupils aged 11 to 16 with a range of social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
About the Role:
The role involves working with pupils who have diverse special educational needs, including dyslexia, social communication difficulties, ADHD, autism, and Tourette's syndrome. As an Education Assistant for SEND Pupils, you will provide 1:1 support and supervision, plan individual learning programmes, and assist classroom teachers in managing pupil behaviour.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with SEN children in the UK.
- An active DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
