Regional Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Director to join our team at Recra Consulting. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within a designated geographic area, with a particular focus on piping systems, mechanical fittings, and valves.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the water and gas industry, preferably with experience working with distributors. A background as an ex-service engineer within the water or gas safety field would be desirable, as would a mechanical engineering background.
In terms of compensation, we offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities, focusing on key customers, contractors, and distributors involved in the water and gas industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and distributors, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to customers, highlighting the features, benefits, and technical specifications of piping systems, mechanical fittings, and valves.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers, offering solutions to meet their specific needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and marketing, to ensure effective communication and seamless delivery of customer solutions.
- Gather market intelligence, staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously improve products and optimise sales strategies.
- Prepare sales forecasts, track sales performance, and provide regular reports to management, outlining progress against goals and identifying areas for improvement.
- Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to promote products, establish new connections, and enhance brand visibility.
We believe that open communication is key to success, which is why we have a transparent salary structure based on your skills and experience. Your salary will be between $90,000 and $140,000 depending on your qualifications.
