Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth within a designated geographic area, with a particular focus on piping systems, mechanical fittings, and valves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities, focusing on key customers, contractors, and distributors involved in the water and gas industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and distributors, providing exceptional customer service and support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the water and gas industry, preferably with experience working with distributors. A background as an ex-service engineer within the water or gas safety field would be desirable, as would a mechanical engineering background.

Requirements
  • Proven sales experience in the water and gas industry, preferably with a focus on piping systems, mechanical fittings, and valves.
  • Strong technical knowledge of piping systems, mechanical fittings, and valves in the water and gas industry.
  • Experience working with distributors and effectively managing channel partnerships.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
