We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Staff Nurse to join our Special Care Baby Unit in Barnstaple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our vulnerable patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective care to special care, high dependency, and intensive care neonates without direct supervision.
- Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager and take charge of the ward as required.
- Support junior members of the team and students, promoting a culture of learning and development.
- Participate in regular performance appraisals and contribute to the development of the team.
- Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment.
- Experience as a Band 6 Neonatal Unit Nurse or equivalent.
- Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
