Job Title: Senior Neonatal Nurse

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced Neonatal Nurse to join our Special Care Baby Unit in Barnstaple.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Neonatal Nurse to provide high standards of care and clinical leadership to the Nursing and wider multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have experience as a Band 6 in Neonatal Unit LNU/NICU and will be responsible for providing effective care to special care, high dependency and intensive care Neonates without direct supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical leadership to the Nursing and wider multidisciplinary team
  • Developing and implementing care plans for Neonates
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Deputising for the Ward Manager in their absence
  • Supporting junior members of the team and students
