We are seeking an experienced Clinician to join our team as an Advanced Nurse Specialist in Leg Ulcer Management. As a key member of our Lower Limb Therapy Service and Well Leg Service, you will provide leadership and management to our expanding team, ensuring high-quality, safe, and effective nursing care within allocated resources.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake holistic nursing assessments to facilitate a nursing diagnosis, plan of care, and ongoing evaluation.
- Provide specialist advice and information to patients, relatives, Nurses, and Health Care Assistants within the clinic setting.
- Undertake research activities and lead clinical audits in Community Lower Limb Therapy Service and Well Leg Service team.
- Participate in the senior clinician on-call rota and participate in the Trust's Single On-call Remuneration Agreement.
The post holder will have the competencies required to perform at this level and role model the Trust's core values, as well as exhibit the behaviours required as part of those values. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work flexibly across a variety of clinic settings within our Northern locality are essential.
