4Leisure Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join their team as Payroll and Benefits Business Partner in their Head Office in Dartford. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a leading UK leisure centre provider, operating nearly 30 leisure centres and lidos across the country.
The main responsibilities of the Payroll and Benefits Business Partner include:
- Leading the payroll team and overseeing the recruitment, training, and performance management of the wider team
- Handling all payroll activities, including running monthly payroll for the business and managing payroll administration processes
- Collaborating with the People Team on staff onboarding processes, contractual changes, and staff payment structures
- Reviewing and creating payroll policies and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency
- Managing and educating staff on employee benefits, including the pension scheme
- Creating and contributing to management training programs
The ideal candidate will have:
- A professional qualification such as CIPP
- Experience in leading high-volume monthly payroll and administering benefits
- Experience with time and attendance systems
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
- Attention to detail, high standards of accuracy, and the ability to multitask while working with large volumes of work
