Job Summary
The Payroll & Benefits Business Partner will lead the payroll team and oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of the wider team. This role requires a professional with experience in leading high-volume monthly payroll and administering benefits.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the payroll team and oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of the wider team.
- Handle all payroll activities, including running monthly payroll for the business and managing payroll administration processes.
- Work with the People Team on staff onboarding processes, contractual changes, and staff payment structures.
- Review and create payroll policies and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Manage and educate staff on employee benefits, including pension schemes.
- Create and contribute to management training programs.
Requirements
- Professional qualification such as CIPP is essential.
- Experience in leading high-volume monthly payroll and administering benefits.
- Experience with time and attendance systems.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
- Attention to detail, high standards of accuracy, and ability to multi-task while working with large volumes of work.
