Nursing Development Lead

We are looking for a talented Nursing Development Lead to join our team. This exciting role will see you leading, supporting and continuously improving clinical governance and quality of care for our residents.

This position requires an experienced RGN with strong and up-to-date clinical practice, extensive experience of residents/patient care and confidence in managing chronic diseases (diabetes or asthma) & wound dressings.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists and senior clinical staff to review and support the performance of every home in their region. They will analyse results from the clinical governance database and KPIs, identifying practical strategies to meet each regulation and improve care delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and supporting the performance of every home in their region

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current NMC registration, RN (General) and evidence of continued professional development. You should have experience working in a care home environment and as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly-qualified nurses. A strong understanding of current regulatory requirements is also essential.

Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience
