About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Clinical Development Lead to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. This exciting opportunity will involve leading, supporting and continuously improving clinical governance and quality of care for our residents across Oxfordshire & Northamptonshire.

This role would suit an individual with practice nursing experience as strong and up-to-date clinical practice is essential. As an RGN, you will have extensive experience of residents/patient care and be extremely confident in managing chronic diseases (diabetes or asthma) & wound dressings.

The successful candidate will review and support the performance of every home in their region to ensure it's performing to the highest clinical standards. Every month, they'll review the clinical governance database and our KPIs and analyse the results. They will then identify practical strategies to make sure we're meeting each and every regulation and improving the care we deliver.

Working closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists and senior clinical staff in each home, the Clinical Development Lead will plan and help implement key actions to address any issues and keep improving standards month in, month out. Whether they're organising new training, helping attract key senior clinical staff, or delivering clinical investigations, their leadership skills and passion for delivering the best will shine through.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be equipped with a current NMC registration, RN (General) and evidence of continued professional development. An experienced nurse, you've worked in a care home environment, and as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly-qualified nurses. You also have a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements. Combining a sharp analytical mind with the ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on your action plans, your leadership will deliver impressive results.
