Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team as a Lead Clinical Psychologist in the Acute Adult Inpatients service. The successful candidate will provide clinical and managerial leadership for the Psychological Professions staff, ensuring high-quality care and support for individuals with complex emotional needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team, contribute to the development of in-patient services, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide highly developed specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and related interventions to support individuals experiencing an in-patient admission.
  • To lead the multi-disciplinary team in ensuring that admissions are goal-focused, person-centred, and engaging families and networking people into resources within their communities.

The role also involves providing supervision to other clinical staff, working collaboratively with senior leadership teams, and contributing to the development of co-production strategies.
