Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist to join our team at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time Band 7/8A psychologist to work in the Urgent Care and Treatment Service (UCAT) team based at St Mary's Hospital, Kettering.

About the Job

The successful applicant will provide psychological assessment, formulation, and interventions across a range of client groups and presentations. They will also have opportunities to develop psychologically informed work within the multi-disciplinary team through supervision and consultation.

The trust offers a supportive environment with excellent links to higher education institutions and opportunities for research and evaluation.

You will be line managed and supervised by the Principal Psychologists based in the UCAT team, with additional support from the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Adult Mental Health Psychology Lead.

Main Responsibilities
  • Providing psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions
  • Developing psychologically informed work within the multi-disciplinary team
  • Working closely with other teams and services within the trust
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Doctorate in clinical psychology or equivalent
  • Registration with the HCPC
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £46,148 - £60,504 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
