Waterway Operations Lead

We are the Canal & River Trust, a charity responsible for 2,000 miles of waterways across England and Wales.
Job Description:- This role involves leading a team of volunteers in delivering works safely and to a high standard, while maintaining volunteer satisfaction.
- You will manage volunteer engagement and development, focusing on the Offside Vegetation (OSV) project.
- Understanding operational and strategic needs of the waterways, you will provide background information for volunteer work programmes.
- You will coordinate staff, vehicles, and equipment for efficient delivery of volunteer works.
- Developing training programmes to maintain and improve volunteer skills levels is also part of your responsibilities.
- The estimated salary for this role is £31,220 per annum, including £4,000 Inner London Allowance.
