Job Title: Healthcare Assistant - Permanent Contract

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, including Freddie, a 12-year-old boy with complex needs.

About the Role:

This is a permanent contract position, offering a range of shifts to suit your availability. You will be responsible for providing personal care, moving and positioning, and supporting Freddie with his daily needs. We offer comprehensive training to ensure you have the skills and confidence to provide the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support Freddie with his daily needs, including meal preparation and medication management
  • Assist with moving and positioning, including transfers and mobilization
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in healthcare or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
