About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to a young service user in their home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the service user's daily life and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to the service user, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Work collaboratively with the service user's family and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a personalized care plan.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting the service user's dignity and well-being at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in complex care.

Requirements

  • 3 months' previous care experience, including medication administration, personal care, and moving and handling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on communication and collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
