About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, including Freddie, a 12-year-old boy with complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with mobility and positioning, including transfers and repositioning
  • Support with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Engage in activities that promote Freddie's physical, emotional, and social well-being
Requirements
  • Previous experience in care work, preferably with children or individuals with complex needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
