We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our service user, Freddie, in his home in Leominster.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work without direct supervision to provide personal, social, and domestic support to Freddie, adhering to his individual care and support plan.

Your primary goal will be to enable Freddie to remain safely in his own home with as much independence as possible, while maintaining his right to privacy and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care, including medication administration, personal hygiene, and mobility support
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Supporting Freddie's social and emotional well-being through engagement in activities and conversation
  • Maintaining accurate records of care and support provided

Requirements

  • 3 months' previous care experience, including medication administration and personal care
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
