About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and resilient Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team at Visit East of England. As a Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in driving regional tourism growth by consistently working towards and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and update client contact details and listing renewal dates in our CRM system.
  • Collect and verify trade data to ensure consistency and accuracy across all web listings.
  • Process trade data promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain and update our trade database, ensuring compliance with GDPR and VEA's privacy policy.
  • Collaborate with the Web, Comms, and Admin Executive and other team members to support various ad hoc tasks and trade data needs.
  • Assist in planning and implementing business and trade events, including the annual VEE conference.
Requirements
  • Five GCSEs at Grades A-C (including Mathematics and English), or equivalent qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience of working in a sales role.
  • Good communication skills in English Language – including ability to produce grammatically accurate emails.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Self-motivated to work independently without close supervision.
  • Ability to learn quickly and willingness to undertake further training, learn new IT and other skills and apply learnt skills in the workplace.
What We Offer
  • 20 working days plus 8 Bank and Public Holidays, and 2 additional Company Holiday days (pro rata).
  • Hybrid working arrangement with the post holder expected to work three days out of five from an office based in Norwich.
