Job Description

Morgan Law is seeking an experienced Deputy Chief People Officer to lead the transformation and improvement of our Trust.

The successful candidate will have significant senior HR leadership experience in a large, complex NHS Trust, with a proven track record of delivering transformational change and improvement in people and culture.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement the People Strategy and support plans, aligning them with the Trust's strategic objectives.
  • Manage and develop the HR senior leadership team and deputise for the Chief People Officer.
  • Develop and implement the strategic workforce plan, working in partnership with care groups' leadership teams and People and Culture Business Partners.
  • Support the design and implementation of organisational development initiatives, working closely with Executive Directors and operational leadership teams to deliver improvements in quality, culture, and patient care and experience.
  • Design, develop, and implement, in conjunction with union partners, a 'Just Culture' approach for all People and Culture policies and procedures.
  • Lead on designated programmes of work across the Integrated Care System and deliver the agreed Workforce workplan for the Integrated Care Partnership.
  • Chair the Staff Committee and take a lead role in the management of union partnership working.
