About the Role

The HR Transformation Manager is a key position within APG's Group Transformation Office, responsible for driving the organization's simplification strategy through effective project management.

This role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent project management skills, experienced in managing complex projects within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of HR-related transformation projects, encompassing HR tooling, process change, and governance of HR elements within broader transformation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with HR project teams, broader APG transformation, and business stakeholders.
  • Establish clear objectives and governance arrangements for projects, ensuring adherence to consistent group documentation and processes.
  • Collaborate with project teams to create detailed project plans and roadmaps.
  • Identify, document, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies (internal and external).
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Communicate project progress and results to senior stakeholders and the wider business.
  • Resolve project conflicts and competing demands.
  • Support the development of project business cases.
  • Manage project budgets accurately.
Impact and Contributions
  • You will contribute to APG's post-merger simplification strategy by streamlining HR functions and improving efficiency.
  • You will lead a portfolio of HR projects, fostering teamwork and motivation to achieve success.
  • You will ensure that HR projects are executed collaboratively with the broader business and aligned with APG's strategic objectives.
  • You will develop the skills of less-experienced team members and promote a strong project governance culture within HR.
  • You will drive continuous improvement across HR Operations.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
