Lead a Team of Dedicated Professionals

At Bright Horizons, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third in Charge to join our team at our Ofsted-rated "Good" nursery in Cambridge. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team to achieve high standards of care and education
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the safety and well-being of our children
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals
  • Work collaboratively to maintain a positive and safe working environment
  • Promote the nursery to current and potential customers to support retention and occupancy growth
  • Ensure commercial success by maintaining expenditure and budget KPIs

Requirements:
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Third in Charge or Room Leader
  • Confident decision maker with experience providing support and leadership to others
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
