Salary: From £31,024 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)
Contract: Permanent | Full Time | 40 hrs
Location: Cambridge
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third in Charge to join our team at Bright Horizons Bunnybrookes Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to all children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Early Years professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the needs of each child
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe working environment
- Engage with the Local Authority to understand the local offer and support practice in all areas of the nursery
Requirements:
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Third in Charge, Room Leader, or Early Years Educator
- Confident decision maker with experience providing support and leadership to others
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
