Nursery Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third in Charge to join our team at Bright Horizons Bunnybrookes Day Nursery and Preschool in Cambridge.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals in providing exceptional care and education to children. As a Third in Charge, you will be responsible for mentoring and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team to deliver exceptional care and education to all children in our care
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, holding overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery and management of safeguarding and child protection policies
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the needs of each child
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe working environment
- Promote the nursery to both current parents and potential customers to support retention and ongoing occupancy growth
- Ensure commercial success of the nursery by maintaining expenditure inline with FTEs and budget KPIs
- Engage with the Local Authority to understand the local offer, to support practice in all areas of the nursery
