Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at The Gardens, Boston PE21 8EY. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety, dignity, and independence.
You will work closely with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities. You will also be responsible for administering medication and maintaining accurate records of your duties.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working together to deliver exceptional care and support.
Requirements- A level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to accurately and legibly complete paperwork, such as accident forms and handovers;
- Confident liaison with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals;
- Competent in all aspects of administering medicines using the Emed system;
- Experience with moving and handling equipment, particularly slide sheets;
- At least 6 months of experience as a senior carer in residential care settings.
