Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from £20,000 to £30,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Our bonus structure offers an additional £100 after working 10 days and a referral bonus of £250 when you recommend someone who works 20 days. We also provide holiday pay schemes and flexible work opportunities in local schools.
Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented classroom practitioner to fill a range of long-term, short-term, and daily roles in and around Chorley. As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting teachers in delivering the primary curriculum, engaging with students, and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a Level 2+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferable) and recent primary school experience within the last 3 years. You should possess excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A right to work in the UK and clear Enhanced Child Workforce on the Update Service are also essential requirements.
