Job Title: 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving complex IT issues for our clients.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional IT services. You will work closely with our 1st Line Support team to resolve technical issues, manage service desk tickets, and provide expert advice on IT service management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to clients
  • Manage service desk tickets and resolve technical issues
  • ITIL v3-4 Foundation certification
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment and Service Level Agreements
  • Good understanding of IT Service Management
  • Windows 10, Windows Server 2008/2012, 2016
  • AD Administration
  • Office 365 - Outlook client setup and troubleshooting
  • VMware
  • Azure cloud infrastructure/environment
  • Networking - DHCP, DNS and VPN's/Firewalls (ideally Sophos)
  • Experience of HP MSA SAN
  • Experience of HP server and networking hardware
  • Set up and support mobile devices
  • Support and manage printers and scanners
Requirements:
  • ITIL v3-4 Foundation certification
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment and Service Level Agreements
  • Good understanding of IT Service Management
