About the Role

We are looking for a Building Safety Expert to join our team at Carriera. As a Principal Designer Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act across multiple developments.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role, a technical background in Architecture, Architectural Technologist, or Construction Management, and be familiar with the Building Regs, BSA legislation, BS documents, and statutory processes.

You will be responsible for attending Design Team meetings and workshops, preparing and producing BSA progress reports, and liaising with other duty holders on design work compliance.

In this role, you will also be required to coordinate the route to compliance with the consultant team, establish a consensus for compliance, and support the project team with notifying the regulator of any duty holder appointments.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £70,000 per annum, plus an industry-leading benefits package.
