Job Title: Social Value Manager

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a skilled Social Value Manager to join our team. As a Social Value Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's social value strategy and ensuring that our projects have a positive impact on the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement social value plans for specific projects, ensuring that they align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Engage with local stakeholders, including schools, universities, and community groups, to identify opportunities for apprenticeships, work experience, and training.
  • Collaborate with project leads to ensure that social value commitments are met and that projects are delivered in a way that maximizes social impact.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local job centers and other stakeholders to ensure that job opportunities are advertised and filled.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of social value initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in social value management, with a strong understanding of social value drivers, policies, and delivery mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of non-financial value reporting frameworks and economic valuation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong administration and IT skills, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Publisher.
  • Construction or project management experience, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
