Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Clerk to join our team at The Redwood Group. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career or looking to build on their existing experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing Invoices: You will handle supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Managing Accounts: From issuing invoices to customers to chasing payments, you will maintain accurate financial records.
  • Payment Runs: Assist with the preparation and processing of payment runs and wages.
  • Financial Records: Maintain accurate records ensuring everything aligns with our policies and industry standards.

In addition, you will assist in weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance analysis to track KPIs and help the business grow.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • A solid understanding of finance and accounting basics.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • A good grasp of finance regulations (experience with FRC is a plus).
  • Detailed-oriented, proactive, and a great communicator.
