Job Description

The role of the Credit Control Agent is to proactively communicate with commercial energy consumers to negotiate settlement or alternative resolution. This involves analysing customer queries, acting as an intermediary between the account holder and the energy supplier, negotiating payments, and identifying vulnerable customers.

The ideal candidate will be organised, able to follow processes, and have good communication and telephony skills. They must also be motivated to plan and manage their workload efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate with commercial energy consumers to resolve outstanding debts.
  • Analyse customer queries to determine payment prevention.
  • Act as an intermediary between the account holder and the energy supplier to resolve queries.
  • Negotiate and process payments, or discuss payment plans with customers.
Requirements:
  • Organised and able to follow processes.
  • Good work ethic with ability to work within defined timescales.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver accurate information.
  • Well-presented and approachable.
  • Good communication and telephony skills.
Salary and Benefits
