Job Summary:

We are looking for a Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh or Sunderland. As a Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of a major capital works project within the energy sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor health and safety practices
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance health and safety awareness
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure health and safety standards are met
Requirements:
  • A NEBOSH Certificate (ideally hold IOSH Membership)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the construction industry
