About the Role
The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our administration team as an Administration Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in business administration, working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and confidential online filing systems and data input for all records generated within the Trust.
- Organize and book meetings, create agendas, and support the distribution of meeting papers under the supervision of the administration team.
- Undertake scanning, photocopying, shredding, and general office duties to ensure the smooth running of the ambulance service.
- Work with the County Business Manager to identify and develop your own learning needs, participate in, and support personal development.

Person Specification
- Successful acceptance onto Level 2 or Level 3 administration apprenticeship standard with an approved provider.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Enthusiastic and motivated individual with the ability to organize and use their own initiative.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of own limitations and willingness to ask for assistance.
- Adaptable and flexible individual with the ability to demonstrate effective learning from experiences.
- Demonstrate a commitment and recognition to the core values and beliefs of an employee of the NHS.
